Silver Clay Jewellery Workshop

 

Create beautiful memories of your time together, and a keepsake to treasure at home.

Perfect for your hen party, retreat or special get-together, spend a fun creative few hours making a beautiful piece of jewellery from the magical material of silver clay!

Each person will come away with a solid silver charm pendant which they have made from either a shell or a moon mold. Please contact me if you’d like to discuss a bespoke mold for your group.

The workshop can take place inside your house or Air BnB as long as you have a table for us to work at.

Price

The workshop takes approx 3 hours (plus set up and pack-down time) dependent on numbers & costs £60 per person (minimum 4 people).

This includes 5 grams of silver clay - enough to make a small fine-silver charm each, a chain, use of all tools and pretty gift bags.

Travel expenses will be charged for events over 10 miles from Bristol or Salcombe

FAQ

How long is the jewellery workshop?

The jewellery workshop takes approx 3 hours depending on the number of people - Min 4. It is fun and relaxed, and includes a break of approx 30 minutes for pieces to dry before we fire them with a small kitchen blow-torch. You can read more about silver clay on my blog here.

What else is needed for the workshop?

Access to electricity is needed to plug in a hot plate to dry the clay before we fire it. This can be inside the house.

Can you run the workshop for more people?

Yes, if you have a retreat or large group then I can run the workshop - please contact me to discuss further.

Do you take a deposit and when do I need to pay?

Yes, a deposit of £200 is required to secure your date and is non-refundable. The balance is due 8 weeks before the event.

What is the cancellation policy?

The deposit is non-refundable. If you need to cancel 4 weeks before the event, a full refund of the balance will be given. Within 4 weeks a 50% refund will be given. No refund is available 7 days before the event, however an alternative date can be arranged.

Do you have insurance?

Yes I have full public liability insurance through the Guild of Jewellery Designers.
